Micha`s brewer seminar
We would like to bring to you an understanding of the fine art of beer brewing. Besides some theory you will lend a hand actively and get to know all stadiums of the beer production in our 50-litre-mini-brewing facility. Enjoy being a brew master for a few hours. For strength you will be spoilt with a 5-course meal influenced with our beer, which is prepared by our head chef Dominic. We organise our brewing seminars from 10 people and up.The menus are individually arranged with you. Eight weeks after your seminar, participants can order a bottle of the self brewed beer and taste the first walking attempts in the matter of brewing art.
The art of brewing in Germany is an old handcraft tradition which remains to most beer drinkers a secret. We would like to give an understanding to you of this art in a small tour in our own brewery. You will not only find out about the art of the beer production, but also about the history of the beer which is much older than one believes.

Beer trekking path
„We walk, from one beer to another” is our saying since summer 2009 in Ehingen. A year later the path was certificated by the international popular sport association. It was also chosen by a famous “travelling and trekking” magazine as one of the 30 most beautiful trekking paths of Germany! The route leads past numerous worth seeing historical buildings and ends with an incredible view over the Danube. The distance is built up in modules and provides three different travelling routes: 5 km, 10 km, 15 km >>hiking card for download<<
In addition to the extensive urban collection of modern art, the art collector Doris Nöth, who originated from Ehingen and has given the city an extremely extensive collection of modern art, has laid a further foundation for the gallery.
The building itself was built in 1624 as Herren- and Adelshof the barons of Speth Family.
Castle Mochental with gallery and broom museum
The gallery Ewald Karl Schrade has been dedicated to contemporary art and classical modernism for almost four decades. The stately Baroque palace Mochental near Ehingen / Danube has been the headquarters of the gallery since 1985. Here, nature, landscape, history and modernity form a symbiosis. On 2,500 square meters of exhibition space, the gallery shows an exciting exhibition program of high standards. Schloss Mochental houses the world’s first broom Museum!
Museum of Ehingen in the holy gohst hospital
The Holy Spirit Hospital was founded around 1340 by foundations and donations Ehinger citizens. Its largest architectural expansion took place in the 16th century. It emerged around a courtyard grouped economics building and the so-called Neuhaus. The economy buildings are no longer available today. The Neuhaus served until 1976 for various purposes, most recently there were apartments in it. With great effort, the building was completely renovated and restored in the years 1977-1984. After completion, the municipal museum was established here and opened in 1985.
Barock churchs Ehingen
The parish church of St. Blaise towers high above the Schmiech on a plateau and is surrounded by a castle-like walled, former cemetery.
In the west of the city lies the pilgrimage church “Our Lady in Ehingen”. The new baroque Liebfrauenkirche impresses with its unity, diversity and splendor.
The Konviktskirche one of the oldest Herz-Jesu-Kirchen in Germany and one of the most important Baroque churches in Schwaben.
